The theme of the RSCANP Precongress Course and the RSCANP Congress addresses current issues, important in our daily practice.

Precongress course:

  1. Drug consumption, challenges and solutions.
  2. Neurodevelopmental disorders.
  3. Current affairs in child and adolescent epilepsy. Transition to adults.
  4. Paroxysmal non-epileptic manifestations. Practical aspects.
  5. The role of the rehabilitation physician and the physiotherapist in neuromuscular diseases.

Congress:

  1. Updates on Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  2. Multidisciplinary Approach to Children and Adolescents with Drug Dependence.
  3. Modern Psychotherapeutic Intervention Techniques in Psychiatric Pathology.
  4. Genetic Neuromuscular Pathology. Updates.
  5. Neurological Inflammatory Diseases in Children and Adolescents.
  6. Neurocutaneous Syndromes. Updates.
  7. Recovery Techniques in Neurological Pathology in Children and Adolescents.

Additionally, this year marks the 34th anniversary of The Romanian Society of Child and Adolescent Neurology and Psychiatry, which was founded on January 30, 1990.

The International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP) mission is to advocate for the promotional of the mental health and development of children and adolescent through policy, practice and research.
