We are proud to announce the XXXIV National Meeting of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
The scientific event, under the theme “Vulnerabilities”, will take place from 23 to 25 October 2024, in the Auditorium of the Sociedade Filarmónica de Azeitão, Azeitão, Setúbal, Portugal.
The XXXIV National Meeting will feature recognized experts in the areas of mental health at national and international level, who will contribute for a joint reflection on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in this area.
We count on the presence of Professor Dimitris Anagnostopoulos, Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and President of the European Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ESCAP, 2019-2023) for the inaugural conference under the theme: Impact of today’s society on identity development and adolescent psychopathology.”.
The Professor Bruno Falissard (President of IACAPAP 2015-2018, Professor of Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine Paris-Sud) will give the closing conference with the theme: "Identity and Mental Illness".
At the Meeting there will be space for the presentation of posters/free communications.

Additionally, this year marks the 34th anniversary of The Romanian Society of Child and Adolescent Neurology and Psychiatry, which was founded on January 30, 1990.
The ACAMH Awards aim to recognise high quality work in evidence-based science, both in publication and practice, in the field of child and adolescent mental health. Nominations will be evaluated by a panel of leading figures in the field, along with ACAMH trustees and the Editors-in-Chief of our journals (JCPP, JCPP Advances and CAMH).
DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS Wednesday 31st July 2024 at midnight UK time. The awards will be presented at an online ceremony on Thursday 7th November 2024. Details will be announced closer to the time.
Awards are open to child and adolescent mental health professionals across the world. There is a specific Award for "Innovative Research, Training or Practice in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs)", which is only open to colleagues in LMICs.
